Thanksgiving Will Look Different This Year as Pandemic Rages On
My WGN Morning News segment features Chicago restaurants with to-go holiday feasts, cocktails and more.
My November appearance on WGN Morning News focused on Thanksgiving to go in Chicago featuring a nice collection of chef-driven, locally owned restaurants.
I felt this approach was important because while more than ever restaurants need our support, we cannot dine in them because of unfortunate situations like this causing them all to suffer. Thanksgiving is an opportunity for us to really dig deep in an effort to support them.
For those who were planning to host Thanksgiving dinner — while keeping in mind it’s not wise to host traditional gatherings this year — one way to help is to order from a locally owned restaurant. You can order the turkey with all the fixings, or the turkey, sides and even alcoholic beverages separately. Just think about how easy it will be to clean up this year.
See the segment in its entirety right here, which includes info to order from each restaurant.
Loved it...When all this is over I have to try The Duck Inn...Great choices....
Great segment!
