My tribute to Women's History Month continues with a stimulating conversation featuring Maame Boakye, one of the co-founders of Dine Diaspora. That’s the unique agency she started with Nina Oduro to amplify African food and the people behind it.
They’ve owned the company for seven years, and for the past five years, they’ve released Black Women In Food, which spotlights 31 prominent industry influencers. From food and beverage journalists to game changers and innovators, the list spans the globe.
Journalist and honoree Chasity Cooper joined us to chat about the impact of the list on the industry. And mixologist Lynn House, as always, presented two new cocktails. This time, they paid tribute to Women’s History Month and the arrival of spring.
Here’s the episode, in its entirety, on the LIVE! Culinary Series.
Great interview! 😁
